Returns & Refunds policy

  1. Cancellations and Rescheduling:

    • Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a tutoring session.

    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a fee of 50% of the session cost.

    • If a client fails to attend a session without notice, no refund will be issued, and the full session cost will be charged.

  2. Late Arrivals:

    • If the client arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time. No extra time will be added, and no refund or discount will be provided for the missed time.

    • Tutors will wait for up to 20 minutes for late arrivals. If the client does not arrive within this time frame, the session will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

  3. Warnings and Penalties:

    • Clients are allowed three warning for either a late cancellation or a no-show.

    • After the three warning, any subsequent late cancellations or no-shows will result in the full session charge being applied.

    • Persistent lateness or repeated cancellations may result in the termination of tutoring services.

  4. Refund Requests:

    • Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the discretion of Tutor Empire management.

    • To request a refund, clients must contact Tutor Empire within 7 days of the session in question. Please provide a reason for the refund request.

  5. Emergency Situations:

    • In cases of emergencies that prevent a client from attending a session (e.g., medical emergencies, family emergencies), Tutor Empire may consider waiving the cancellation fee.

    • Clients may be required to provide appropriate documentation to support their refund request.

  6. Non-Refundable Payments:

    • Payments for packages or prepaid sessions are generally non-refundable. Any exceptions will be made at the discretion of Tutor Empire management.

Late Payment Policy

  1. Payment Terms:

    • Payment for tutoring sessions must be made in advance or at the time of the session, as agreed upon during the registration process.

  2. Late Payment Penalties:

    • Payments not received within 7 days of the scheduled due date will incur a late fee of [7%] of the session cost.

    • If the payment is delayed by more than 14 days, an additional [10%] late fee will be applied, and future sessions may be suspended until the outstanding balance is paid.

  3. Repeated Late Payments:

    • Clients with repeated late payments may be required to prepay for future sessions or may have their services terminated at the discretion of Tutor Empire management.

  4. Notification:

    • Clients will be notified of any late payment charges via email, along with a reminder to settle the outstanding balance.

  5. Dispute Resolution:

    • If there is a dispute regarding the payment or a penalty, clients should contact Tutor Empire promptly to discuss the issue and seek resolution.
