Tutor Empire Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Tutor Empire. By accessing or using our tutoring services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before engaging with our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

• By enrolling in our tutoring services, clients and students agree to abide by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

• Tutor Empire reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Services Offered

• Tutor Empire provides tutoring services for students in grades 4 to 9 in the subjects specified on our website. The availability of tutors and subjects is subject to change based on demand and tutor availability.

• All sessions, whether online or in-person, are scheduled based on mutual agreement between the client and Tutor Empire.

3. Scheduling and Payment

• Clients are responsible for scheduling sessions in advance. Payment for sessions must be made in accordance with the pricing structure outlined on our website or communicated during the registration process.

• Payments are required before the start of each session or as per any agreed-upon payment plan.

• Late payments are subject to penalties as outlined in our Late Payment Policy.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session without incurring a penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a fee of 50% of the session cost.

• No-shows or failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will result in the full session cost being charged.

• Tutor Empire reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions in cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, with appropriate notice given to clients.

5. Late Payment Policy

• Payments not received within 7 days of the due date will incur a late fee of [7%] of the session cost. Payments delayed by more than 14 days will incur a late fee of [10%], and future sessions may be suspended until the outstanding balance is settled.

• Persistent late payments may lead to the requirement of prepayment for future services or the termination of tutoring services.

6. Client and Student Responsibilities

• Clients and students are expected to attend scheduled sessions on time and be prepared with any necessary materials.

• A suitable learning environment free from distractions is required for both in-person and online sessions to ensure an effective learning experience.

7. Intellectual Property

• All educational materials provided by Tutor Empire, including lesson plans, worksheets, and resources, are the intellectual property of Tutor Empire and are intended for personal use only. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of these materials is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Tutor Empire is committed to providing high-quality tutoring services. However, we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes or results.

• Tutor Empire is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to academic performance.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

• Tutor Empire is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our clients and students. All information collected is used solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services, in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

• Personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

10. Termination of Services

• Tutor Empire reserves the right to terminate services if a client consistently fails to comply with these terms and conditions or engages in behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

• Clients may also terminate services at any time by providing written notice to Tutor Empire. Refunds for prepaid sessions will be handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

11. Dispute Resolution

• In the event of a dispute regarding these terms or the services provided, clients agree to first seek resolution through discussion with Tutor Empire management.

• If a resolution cannot be reached, clients agree to engage in mediation or arbitration as a means of dispute resolution before pursuing legal action.

12. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

• Any legal actions or proceedings arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Manitoba.
